___Saves: good answer. Still, the Bible is pretty specific about where God will be.

Swiss Gaurd: Hello Catholic Crusader, I wondered what happened to you, hadn't seen a post in a while. Yes, we will all find out the Truth. That should be incentive to study more than Catholic dogma.

Pretty hard to have faith in a concept you cannot prove.

Destructive: We are joining God, and it is going to be His way or the highway, so we had better become familiar with His way.

People: I am not questioning the fact that the gift of God is eternal life, I am questioning where we will spend that life.

John 6:37, Jesus said, "All that the Father giveth me SHALL COME TO ME; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out".

The word of God says there WILL BE a new heaven and a new earth wherein dwells righteousness. Paradise means
Eden, and the meek SHALL inherit the earth; they sure don't have it as yet!!!

Absolutely not. That puts heaven in the future. Heaven is not a cloud with a harp and an old guy with a beard.

It is a relationship with G-d that exists right here and now and we can be in right now.

The word in Hebrew isn't even heaven. It's the Olam Haba, often translated as the world to come in the future, but it is clearly in the present.

When a person has a good relationship with G-d they are in the Olam Haba which continues from the present to the future.

When the person doesn't, they are in the Olam Hazeh (this world) with all it's difficulties.

Btw, nobody ever said "heaven" would be easy.

How can the eternal life in heaven be proved from the bible ?
This is what turns me off Christians , if god created the earth for man then why does he want us in heaven ?
Is it not true your bible talks about Resurrection ?
If your god wants us in heaven , why did he just not make us angels and save all the hassles ?

What does Revelation 21:4 mean ? Are we Joining god or is god joining us ?

By the way I enjoy your questions.

The reward of the saved is eternal life. The meek shall inherit the earth. There will be a new heavens and new earth. Jesus says he goes to prepare a place for us, in His Father's house are many rooms. I don't recall our reward specially mentioned as heaven.
