As a Christian in England I have to say that I was appalled by the TV evangelism I saw when I visited the USA. I can't vouch for all Christian TV but I really don't think the way they cheapened the Christian message by emotionally blackmailing people for money was at all good.

Yes, I am, but I wouldn't mind the oriental guy, he's kinda HAWT!! And it's hysterical as hell watching him. He's so funny! I though Southern preachers were a hoot, they've got nothin' on this guy. No,no,no, not the evil Silver Ravenwolf, please, not here, Goddess, you guys thought the fights between the Xians and the Athiests were rediculous. They pale in comparison to some of the witch wars of days gone by. And all over people MOO'ing. What a world, what a world,,, My late night t.v is taken up by Craig Ferguson and Sex in the City with a little Will & Grace thrown in. That's what I am watching right now in between answering questions here. Anybody else? What are you watching right now???

Christian TV is nothing but a bunch of con-artists in the first place (ever notice how cushy the TV evangalists live-how much money goes into the buildings). Christian TV is just like TV--it's all about money--Christian TV is just more hypocritcal because the con in done in the name of religion. Why wouldn't Christian TV sell theses things--they are getting prime bucks from the advertisers and money from the fools that send money to them.

What does all that have to do with teaching the Bible? Doesn't it have more to do with commercialism than spiritual matters? Did Jesus not throw out the moneychangers in the temple trying to add coins to the pockets of the clergy class?

I have my doubts about the validity of such things. Although I do not see it on every stations. Just the same, I wonder about advertisements for Wal-Mart, and other sources of high use consumerism.

God didn't intend His Gospel to be preached and taught through any worldly media, but through His few faithful witnesses laboring the field where "the harvest is plenteous."
