Ok if i was to build a fallout shelter for a nuclear war how deep under ground whould it have to be,to protect me from the blast and radtation?And how long will radtation be in the air?

A fallout shelter would not be effective if you are anywhere near ground zero. You might survive the blast but you'd likely not ever be able to reach the surface again. Unless it was a small nuke. The Hiroshima bomb is relatively tiny compared to the big boys they have today. Your best bet would be geographic isolation from any population center. Hope we never find out for sure.
