yes, they are. They're still loaded with carbs and high in bad cholesterol and MSG. With all the spices and oil in the packaging, it is not a healthy substitute for a good, well-balanced diet.

All types of instant noodles probably have different calorie counts. There should be a listing of nutritional information, including calories, on the packaging - at least in the U.S. it's a law to do so. Remember, the information is usually listed PER SERVING. So, if you eat a whole box and there are 4 servings in a box, then multiply the information by 4!!! In general, though, refined carbohydrates such as noodles are one of the worst foods you can eat - both health-wise and weight-wise. They are empty calories. You will be better off with whole grains (such as wheat flour or wheat germ) or avoiding them as much as possible altogether. You can get carbs from things like fruit and potatoes - that's the best way. Get a good book on nutrition and that will help you in your diet. Good luck!

High in salt. You would be better off to eat brown rice.
