I had the same problem- fear. Then I ended up having to go because I was in so much pain. Now that I've gone once, I'm totally over it- I just had to face it.
If you are very afraid, explain that to them- they will work with you on that. Don't put it off any longer- the longer you wait, the more pain you will face, and the more expensive it will be to fix whatever is bothering you.

I don't know what the problem is but seriously don't mess around with your teeth. Toothaches are the absolute worst also teeth infections can affect your heart..Teeth problems don't go away on thier own go to the dentist
