A family friend is staying over the weekend,i told my boyfriend this and he said on the phone 'what if i want to see you'?'tell him he cant come over the weekend',but in a loud firm voice,he also moans if i dont answer the phone. What do you think?

he is being a control freak and he shouldnt be able to get his way all the time and if he loved you he would truly understanding and be ok which it seems like he's not

What? Why cant he see you at the weekend if he wants to?? Sorry I dont get it!! Cant you all be together? If he still has a problem then maybe yes he is a little controlling

It depends on what youve said to him. Have you told him he cant come over if your family friend is there? Does that make him feel excluded? There should be no reason why he can't see you if the friend is there too?

Ok if a man start yelling at you for stupid reason then he might be a control freak because he's overprotective of you. If you yell at you everyday, then girlfriend dump him. If he telling you want to wear, who to hang out with and talk to, that the hints off dumping his butt.

Yes he is sounds manipulative. I know its only something little but thats how it starts and the longer you stay the harder it is to leave. Trust me went out with a guy (stalker) for two months. Wouldn't leave me alone for 12 months after and still thought i belonged to him. And thats how it started. RUN!!!!!!!!!!!

Tell him that you will do what you want to. He is just pouting. Straighten this out now or you will have worse problems later. He will start telling you who you can be friends with, etc... Yes, he is starting to become controlling!!!

i think you should tell him how it makes you feel and nip it in the bud now before it gets out of hand,so what if you cant get to the phone every time he rings just tell him you will ring him back when your ready,you should be able to things on your own still sometimes.
