God does not make mistakes, however, some questions in life just as, why are we here, will have to wait until we meet the Father and ask Him.
Sin is the cause and down fall of mankind, especially for those who do not fight the temptations in life

I know we're not a mistake, though we make many of them:) I'm not to much of a beleave...but I do beleave that God does know all, past, present and future. The thing is people always wonder "well if he knows all then why do bad things happen"?
1). He's not Hitler! He's not going to make us do anything. We have the freedom to chose to kill, steal, and so on.
2), He test us. good can come from bad (if one man see another am trying to doing wrong he can stand up and stop it), (If your house burns down, your frineds and strangers help biuld you a new one).
Sorry I'm not to good at this:) But like you asked if we are evoling then the world changeing is just part of the change.
And if God made us then there must be a reason, I dont think he;d make us just to watch us die out...
The world is an amazing place, beautiful in so many ways it can heal. But we do have to take care of it

God never said that mankind was a mistake, but he did state in Gen 6 v 6 ....and the Lord was sorry that he had made made man on earth, and he was grieved in his heart.....but Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.
God didn't only make the tree of knowledge in the garden....he also made the tree of life, (2 very different trees) but after man sinned, received Gods curse and was ejected from the garden, God placed cherubim with a flaming sword to guard the way to the tree of life. One tree led to sin and death and the other led "the way" to life.
Jesus also said that he was the way the truth and the life, and we have a choice still as did Adam and Eve on "the way" we choose to live our lives.

We were created to serve and love God. We were created in His image. We have a choice. If we serve Him and love Him and accept His Son we will have eternal life forever with Him. The bible says "this world will soon fade away along with everything it craves."
It also says that in the end times people will turn to their own wicked ways and not acknowledge Him. Isn't that happening now?
When we are living a life in Christ we will be blessed beyond measure. That does not mean that bad things will never, ever happen to us. But it does mean that Jesus will be with us to walk us through it, it does mean that we will recieve peace and comfort when we need it and that the Holy Spirit that dwells within us will guide us in our lives.
Remember this, if you remember nothing: God is in control. He knows about the pollution, He knows about the wars and He knows about our personal struggles and pains. The bible talks about different seasons. This is just a season.

For all of the negative crap you mentioned, you left off one very important detail.
The bulk of humanity is made up of decent hard working people that just want to get along with society as a whole and contribute positively to this world.
Bad stuff has gone down in terms of humanity's existence, but there are more law-abiding citizens than criminals, there are more people that want peace than war, and more people care about the enviorment than don't.

No we were fine until we turned selfish and selfcentered. We forgot that with the intellect we have that should have taken better care of things.
We weren't a mistake but we do make mistakes.

g1 verybigfoot,
god the creator (i.e. Brahma) is either
NOT all-knowing OR
NOT all-good OR
NOT all-powerful OR
some combination of the above (epicur)
"therefore he isn't god" makes no sense to me?
all-powerful (within his creation - like a programmer within 2ndlife)) would be sufficiently impressive to most I guess.
Oh yes, and of course it was.

im not a spiritual person and i dont have much idea about this kind of topic...but for my own view, we're not a mistake...all things happen for a "reason" and we're all striving to know that reason and all these things are happening because of that struggle in knowing that reason...i remember my teacher in elementary grade who told me the basic and the fundamental thing that everyone shuold do - 'to know, to serve and to be with HIM in heaven"...i guess bad things are happening because we failed to do this task, we failed to return the love...or maybe bad things are happening for us to realize this task/purpose in our lives...why we were created? its because of the overflowing love from GOD...so many questions and no answers? All the aswers that we are seeking are all in our reach, we just dont know how to listen...its simple, its basic, its the most important..."To know, to serve and to be with HIM in heaven"...

God knows everything. That's for sure...
"Why were we created?" That was big question, every religionist, philosopher and wise man tried to answer.
