The battery is about 4 months old and the lights in the car do come on. I have tried to jump start it already to no success. Two relays do click when the key is turned. Could this be the starter motor? If so, is this difficult to replace? Could it be anything with the computer in the car? Blown fuse? It was struggling to start for about the past couple weeks when the weather started getting a little cooler. Please help.
Thanks,

I have checked the battery voltage and it is good. I have put a meter at the starter solenoid and it does see the voltage when the ignition key is turned on. I am leaning towards replacing the starter. Any other ideas for things to check before replacing?

a bad starter will cause that to happen especially when it starts to get cold weather, you might want to have it checked they can check the starter with it on the car by seeing how much power it draws from the battery to start it,that would be one way to find out for sure about it,good luck on it.

If you hear the solonoid click and the battery reads 12 volts ( turn on the lights, see if they're bright ) then it's almost for sure the starter. Have someone turn the key to start, and tap, not bang, but tap the side of the starter with a hammer. A few taps will usually get it to a spot where it will turn over once more. Then change it.

you mentioned the weather ...its the battery cable going to the starter its all corroded and its the #1 problem people have that they never think about till they buy a new battery and a new alternator and a new relay but never think of a battery cable thats been on there for 8 years or more...?We cant ever see the corrosion but its there under the black plastic insulation

It could be poor connection with the battery connectors, the battery. and it could be your computer brain. it`s really not good to jump the cars made after 1988. the brains will overload and shut the system down. so get the battery charged first.

Could be a defective battery.
Next, check the alternator.
After that, the starter.
