Ya know, that really isn't an off-the-wall idea Marla. If you're truly serious, just include it on your list. I'd bet on it, that someone or a few people together would purchase it.
My daughter and her friends had the longest bridal registries from all sorts of stores that you'd not normally think of as wedding gift material. Times have changed!

I think you could get that out by word of mouth, but I doubt there'd be an actual way to register for that--I mean, where would you register for such an item? I doubt the Steelers' box office has a bridal registry, if you know what I mean. I think that would make an incredible wedding gift for a pair of fans though.

If you already have an established home, and your friends and family members know it . . then asking for something "unique" or non-traditional is acceptable. Asking for season tickets is no different than asking for a dozen Waterford champagne glasses. Your friends and family members will only give you what they feel "is a refelction of your lifestyle."
I know of a couple that asked for trees and bushes for their new home. Did they get them? Yes, they received several garden center gift certificates.

Sure!
A registry is only a WISH LIST.
It does not mean someone will get you them, it just means that it is an IDEA for people who do not know what in the world to get you!
