To get them legally and safely, you need to see an Optometrist to be fitted with the lenses. After they are fitted, which usually means having to wear a pair for a week or so and then having the doctor finalize the Rx, they can give you a copy of the Rx and you can order them online. But you do need to make sure that you get the right base curve and diameter or you could wind up with poorly fitting contacts which will lead to a whole heap of trouble. Contact lenses are a medical device, even if you want them just to change your eye color, and they are regulated by the FDA, just like any other drug, and they require a trip to the eye doctor and a valid prescription.

If you currently wear clear, soft contact lenses, your lens may be available in a tinted form. This should not require any additional fitting charges, and you should be able to obtain the prescription from person who fit you.

If you do NOT currently wear any type of contact lenses, DO THE RIGHT THING. See a profession who fits contact lenses (Ophthalmologist, Optometrist or Optician). Stay away from the internet underground.

you have to go to an optician's to get your eyes checked before getting any sort of contact lenses to make sure your eyes are suitable for them also so you know how to handle them and look after the lenses. They all come the same shape and size because they're made of a pliable matereal that sticks to your eyeball.Prices depends on where you get them from and what colour they are,if they're the special effect lenses like cats eyes, they'll be more expensive.Sometimes it is cheaper buying them online but i would just get them from one of the well known opticial branches.

When i use coloured contacts i always go to the optician to check if they fit best on my eyes. I don't know if there are coloured contact to fit the shape of our eyes, since normally they are "one size fits for all". Maybe you need to take ur time to get used to it on applying contacts.
Since it's coloured contacts, don't buy them off the net, because you need to check what colour fits your eyes! ;)

I'm sure trusting your eyes to something you bought in bulk off the net from someone that is not a doctor, is fine.

You can but it may not be a precise fit.

See your eye has curvature..and any lenses should be fit to that precise curve you have.

I've had them (bought from the Oriental Store) and they worked fine..but sometimes not.

You can buy them off hte net, but please don't.

They do need to be fitted to your eye shape, eveyone is slightly different, can cause permanent damage otherwise and where would you be without your sight?

you can just buy them but I'd advise seeing an option and getting them there - they show you how to put them in :) and what to do if it goes wrong

all the best
