Try offering delicious food, not piled on the plate like a trough. I.e. stop taking your dates to MacDonalds!

well my husband takes me to dinner and I love to go but I never can finish my dinner. The serving sizes are 3 times more than I can eat at one time. I take home my left overs and divide them up. (If the food was really good) Every girl needs to eat. Try asking her why she doesn't finish her meal. My husband knows I won't. He don't mind, he loves being with me and I think he likes to know that I at least ate something.

start with drinks, dinner is more advanced. women may not wanna eat and stuff when nervous, also many are light eaters . . let it go man. plus, its not about filling up so much as enjoying the others company during the meal for some. you will never be able to understand women fully- may as well just meet them at bars and get what you want. hehe

What would you prefer she do, eat until she made herself sick? Get a to-go plate or bag and take the rest home. You can't condemn someone to booze and coffee just because they are not big eaters.

This person must not mean very much to you, or you would not be thinking this way. You would appreciate her for the person that she is.

most restaurant meal portions are too big - perhaps she is eating the amount she knows is right for her - only enough to be satisfied, but not overly full
or maybe she didn't realize your opinions weren't worth worrying about and she didn't want you to think she was eating too much
seriously, though... you bought her the meal - what she does with it is now in her hands - - sorry you don't feel you got your money's worth (though maybe that didn't have to do with the restaurant part of the evening?)

because taking a girl to dinner is more than just about the food, taking her to dinner instead of a bar or starbucks is kind of telling her you are actually interested in more than just getting into her pants, it shows that you are a caring person who is willing to try harder than just a couple beers to get to know someone, its also much more personal at dinner than at a bar....it shows her that you care

Are you watching the pennies you spent on her ? don't you think she worth it. Maybe she doesn't want you to think she's pigging out in front of you. You have already started to criticize her.
