If you're planning on doing people pictures, the Fuji S5 Pro is the way to go. Fuji's cameras have the absolute best skin tones of anything on the market. Another plus is that they use the Nikon F-mount so any Nikon lens will work on it. My beef with previous Fuji cameras is that the functioning of them is painfully slow. I assume the S5 is no different, but I've never used one. I have used an S3 and an S2 (there is no S4 to my knowledge). If you're not needing speed in operation, then the S5 is definitely what you need.

Other than that, I'd recommend a Nikon D200 or a Canon 5D. Both have excellent lines of lenses available and have exceptional quality. I have a D200 and love it.

A digital SLR is they type of camera you're looking for.

Features:
interchangeable lenses
professional autofocus system
professional flash system
physically larger sensor
less noise at higher ISO.

Now, if you're trying to start a photo studio, you probably should also take some photography classes too. The question you're asking is a bit too...amateur for someone who wants a professional photo studio.

Examples of some cameras that will fit the bill:
Nikon D2x
Canon 40D
Fujifilm S5 Pro
Nikon D200
Canon 5D
Canon EOS 1Ds, mark III

Pl. go for a SLR camera (Nikon and other leading brands) with 8 MP or more resolution. The quality of the lenses is very important.
