After squeezing a pimple under my armpit. I noticed that there is a small lump under the newly squeezed one. It is not a pea size, and it is really near to the surface (less than 5mm). Sometimes, i squeeze it and tiny bits of pus come out. I am a bit scared. Cuz i heard people say that if there is lump in your armpit or breast, then i would be breast cancer.
Please i would like to know a reasonable answer.

sounds like either an ingroing hair or blocked/infected sweat gland. used to get them a lot. don't think its anything to worry about but its always worth getting things checked, especially if you are worried.

No that isn't true.. it could be a cyst which also can contain pus. My daughter has large lumps in her armpit.. its a disease with a long name but they aren't cysts. They come and go like boils and they are very painful. In order to know for sure if its a lymphnode or you just irritated that area you need to have the doctor check it out.. so make an appointment today and stop stressing yourself out!

It could be a cyst. If you squeeze it and pus comes out, it's not the sort of lump that indicates cancer. Tumors are not the source of pus; cysts and pimples and such are actually infections, and infections generate pus.

If it doesn't resolve itself, see a doc to get it taken care of. I wouldn't worry about cancer though.

Please get it checked out thoroughly. It may not be cancer, but you need to know that for sure. For me, it all started with a lump at the base of my neck. There are many things that make lymph nodes swell. You need to know for sure, just for your peace of mind.

Go to the doctor if you are scared. Why would you allow a stranger on line comfort you with medical info? You won't know until you see a professional....IE ....A DOCTOR so go see one.
