It's awful enough to be going through depression. It's even more difficult when you haven't found the right medication to treat it. I do promise you this: It WILL get better! But it's going to take getting you regulated with the right meds, ok?

See if the doctor would let you try something tried and true, like the older meds, or even Zoloft. You are having side effects of the new meds. There's no reason for you to have to suffer harder by trying to stop suffering!

If your doctor is unable to work with you, there are plenty other ones available. Get away from that one. But give the doctor a try first, by letting him/her know that you're vomiting on this one. If you want, have yourself checked-out first to make sure you don't just have a stomach bug. Unfortunately, your new med can make you feel like it! Once you have a blood test done, they'll know for usre.
Also, did you have a break between meds? If not, there might not have been enough time for a change. You could still be suffering side effects from the others or from the change. But PLEASE let your doctor know immediately. See what is suggested, and perhaps you suggest it yourself that you go get a blood test to be certain you don't just have a stomach bug.
By the way. i remember one doctor telling me to wait a week. Before that week was over, I was having the worst panic attack of my life. I honestly thought I was having a heart attack! Don't let that happen to you: be your own advocate!

Lofepramine (trademarked Gamanil, generic Lomont) may produce weight gain or cause changes in the levels of blood sugar.

One of the many side effects of both Prozac ( generic- Fluoxetine) and Celexa (generic name- Citralopram) are weight gain. aside from suicide.

You can also have nausea as a side effect from Celexa. You should really notify your Psychiatrist to change the meds for it.

I'm on the antidepressant.-Welbutrim. . It doesn't have the side effects of weight gain or nausea/ vomiting.

Vomiting might be due to GERD or Bulimia. Repeated retching might cause or make your throat sore. Have you checked into this problem of Bulimia of yours?

Your problem is not the meds, it is your fear of gaining weight. True, some antidepressants can cause weight gain, but Prozac usually helps people with bulimia. You need to be dead honest with your doctor so you can get the help you need. If you are throwing up everything you eat you definitely are bulimic.
