In the U.S., I noticed there is a pattern of a lot of Black women dating/marrying White men than vice versa. Is there a reason for this? Are White men more appealing to Black women?

White women tend to be superficial, and greedy. They want the american dream, and mixed race relationships don't fit into that.
White men on the other hand are more open, and don't care as much about such things.
Call me a racist all you want, but It's true.

The truth is because some black men are self hating, and bash black women in this process. This is why many of us get mad. There's nothing wrong with it, just as long as you don't bash your own race. The truth is also they often do it for mixed kids with long hair and light skin, slave mindset. I love white men, but don't say, black men attitude, I hate black men and others. Black men get mad when we do it too. Some I mean, like it's o.k. for them not us, hypocrisy. Also 41.2 % of black women are unmarried, we feel like they're taking all of them, white women can GET ANY RACE BLACK WOMEN ARE LIMMITED, WATCH DARK GIRLS DOCUMENTARY OR LIGHT GIRLS, YOU UNDERSTAND. Counting gay black m, jail, it makes it even more slim. Nothing against it, but most of the time, they think it's a prize or award. I gave up, most of the men who liked me were white... in fact, more black men are saying that they only date white women, or rap songs bashing black women. This is sad our generation has gone down...

Have you read a statistic on this? Just wondering. My thought on this is depending on where in the U. S there are a lot more women than men and in some places it is difficult to meet people in your own race or when you do they are already with someone. Race is not always an issue in some cultures it all just depends.

I don't think it's true that more black women date white men than black men dating white women. I think the first is less common. I'm biracial, my boyfriend is white, but I didn't get together with him because he's white, I grew to love him because he was my best friend.

I've always dated white men and will continue. However, I think there is more white women with black men. But white men and black women relationships are increasing!

Because white men have better jobs,and tend to stay with the woman after the kids pop out. This is a true staement so dont come at me with the "racism crap" (thats what comes instead of intelligent debate) truth is black men who date white women use this as a "trophy" amoung other blacks, (look what I got) black women are tired of their males being "victims" all the time and using slavery as excuses for their own failures in life, so they have decided to move on to successful men regardless of the color of the skin.Period. There it is, the truth.(hurts sometimes I know)

where have you been, there are black women dating white guys, white guys dating latino women, asian women dating black guys, its a human melting pot out there, all races and sexes are dating everyone!!! people are seeing people for who they are and not the skin they are in!

no, not to me at least, i think its all about who approaches whom.....and also there seems to be a shortage of good black men, that know how to appreciate and love a black woman....they also tend to date lots of other races (not just white) and maybe they just arent as interested as they used to be but who knows?

To me it's about pyschical attraction&money PERiIOD !! Black women have it going on they're more college educated and have good jobs&careers. White men rule this socitey PERIOD !! They are considered the main men all the women no matter what nationality always fantasize about being with the"white knight" !! I'm a black man I'm straight nice looking and sistas totally ignore me. But with my personality if I was a white guy these sistas would line-up around the block to get to know me. It is what it is, as long as I got me I'm good sistas never liked me anyway boy it's great to be a white man in the 21.st century !! All the sistas are allover them like white on rice !!
