I was a member of the NRA for quite awhile and I can blow a hole through a soda can from far far away !! I would say HELL YEAH !!
But then again; if I just met you and that was your first date--- I would think that maybe you might be some psycho and I would make sure I had a loaded one on my side the whole time!! Aren't I the funny one !!!
I mean you have to really think about that one dude. You don't know a female; you hook up one night in a bar, talk for an hour or so, get the number, call her the next day and tell her that you want to get your guns and her and go in the middle of nowhere and go target shooting.......What would be your first impression !!!! Honestly ! LOL

Not a good reaction, and not because I'm against guns. In my state, you need an identificiation card from the state police to possess a firearm, and no legitimate shooting range would allow you to touch a gun without presenting your card. So, a person needs to plan in advance to do this. Also, I would not touch a gun without first having a full course in gun safety. Several close friends do shoot for sport, and several are Army veterans who are great shots, so I do expect to learn from them someday. But to me this is not casual, it's not entertainment, and it's not something I'd do on a date except with a very close friend I knew very, very well, and in any case not on the "spur of the moment." I take guns seriously, and I hope you do, too.
If you actually want to teach your girlfriend to shoot, tell her about your hobby and ask her whether she would like to learn. Don't just spring the question on her!

Depends, do you work for the police or the FBI ? Then it is your job and might be facinating. On the other hand if you are just someone who wants to be a superhero and think guns are "cool" I would avoid you like the plague. Dating is to get to know each other and if your world requires a gun just for protection or for kicks or to feel powerful and macho, I would rather not enter it.

Love to shoot guns but not at animals just targets...like the pin up sheets at a target place. Super fun!

I'd be gun ho! I'd love it, I might be a little worried that you might be kinda nuts, but I'd still love it. My boyfriend took me shooting, one of the most memorable dates of my life. In fact I still have the paper thingy. :)
