i have 13 of them. i'm not tryin to kill myself its just that i have a really bad headache and a friend told me to take like 10 of these codine pills...see normally i have oxycodone for this but im out and cant get any till tomorrow...so how many would you sugest i take of the tylenol with codine and would taking all 13 kill me?

No, 13 won't kill you. You will sleep longer than usual. And the tylenol will damage your liver.
Take 2 or 3. That should do it.
If you have headaches that don't respond to plain Advil, you should see your doc, and not self-medicate with oxy.

Your liver cannot process that much Tylenol without suffering permanent damage, or most likely, death as a result.
Ditto for the codeine.
Try asking the pharmacist if you can also take a drug from the anti-inflammatory category, such as Advil.You will likely need to eat with it.
If you are diabetic, or other underlying medical conditions, always be sure to mention that.
Everything affects everything else.

Please never take more than the dosage prescribed of any medication, it can cause more problems. Tylenol in excess can cause severe liver damage, as well as affect the kidneys. Try taking some plain white rice, put it in an old sock and tie it up, microwave it for about 3-5 minutes and lay it on your neck or point of pain. It gives you a nice warm wet heat, that helps alot. It is great for any kind of pain...

Oxycodone is not comparable to tylenol c/ codiene. You would not die from 10 of them, but you would suffer the consequences of damage to your liver.
I think you should try other things besides narcotic pain relievers for your headache.
Your friend does not sound like much of a friend.
Not to sound cold or insensitive, but you sound like you are either suffering from another incurable disease or you really like to take pain meds. After you take so many pain meds, you develop what is called a tolerance and to just say "can I take all 10" sounds like your a little bit crazy. Why not just take 1 or 2.

Don't take ten of them. Take the recommended dose, or don't take it at all. Since Tylenol with Codiene is prescription, you shouldn't take it except for what it was prescribed for.
To know how bad of an overdose it would be, you'd need to provide the milligrams of each of the pills. I've never seen where more than two pills was recommended, though.

You should only take 2 of them. More than that can do damage. Take 2 and go to bed, try to get some sleep. You can take Ibuprofen as well. Wait about 2 hours and if you are still hurting, you can take 2. Good luck!
