Liberal motto: "All lies are the truth, and all truths are lies"

Just an FYI here. Clinton sent troops to more places in a shorter period of time than any republican in the last 20 years. As well as funding for the military being cut 4 times during his presidency. Not to mention embarrassing the nation with such things as a REAL impeachment, Monica(save that dress) Lewinsky, Paula Jones, oh yeah and his wifes excuse for mishandling health care services, and lets not forget that ok.

The homeless situation being 1out of 4 homeless persons are vets is understandable. Most of the folks that you will find there have had a serious incident of shell shock (PTSD) in their pasts. Un-ableness or unwillingness on their part is irrelevant. Its not a republican nor a democrat issue. Its a standardization of mental health care and physical well being that is in short supply. Contact your local Veterans Administration with your problems, then contact your congressman or congresswoman, either way, neither party will look at these persons as any less of a human being because of their current living situation. Try working with the system instead of complain about how you think it should be.

And in parting Jane Fonda was spit on for good reason. It would be the same thing today if Angelina Jolie went off with Osama Bin Laden and talked to the prisoners before they were beheaded.
Jane Fonda is a lying manipulative conviving backstabbing UN-American person who just happens to be married to Ted Turner. So she can buy her seclusion instead of hiding.

So there ya go.

Groucho is right. Jane Fonda is now divorced from Ted Turner, he divorced her. Jane Fonda helped the North Vietnamese during the war. She went to Hanoi and aided and abetted in Treason. When I complain every year to my Congressman, my Senators, and the Justice Department that treason has no statute of limitations, I never have gotten a reply in 30 years. Were was and is the support of the American People?

The VA does have programs for Homeless Vets, except for the fact that the VA is terribly underfunded. It cannot provide help for all the veterans who need it, but it tries as well as it can. Call your Congressman and Senator to fully fund the VA. Where is the Support of the American People now?

I am an US Air Force Veteran. They spit on me during the Vietnam War at San Francisco Airport. Ask me why when I go to California, I refuse to go to or spend money in San Francisco. Where was the support of the American Public then?

Thank you for citing one article on MSNBC, I will add it to my list of networks I do not watch. As for you, I feel sorry for you. But I do wish you well.

Jane conceded she had used poor judgment when she visited North Vietnam, but it is worth remembering 105 Americans visited Hanoi privately like Jane did around the same time, yet Americans can name none of them but 'Jane Fonda'. Another point not noted is that Jane visited U.S. P.O.W.s to cheer them and offer whatever help she could. Also, the U.S. was not officially at war with North Vietnam, the country was described as 'Hostile Territory' in Official U.S. State Department Documents.

Perhaps Jane's most lamentable mistake was her Radio Address to U.S. Troops in South Vietnam from Hanoi, she urged Americans to go home and stop 'being used as cannon fodder in a War of aggression against the Vietnamese people'. Without realising so, she was parroting the North Vietnamese disinformation about the U.S. presence in Vietnam, the U.S. was in Vietnam protecting South Vietnam's hopes of independence from North Vietnam.

A man once waited 45 minutes in line at a book signing to spit tobacco juice on Hanoi Jane. I would do the same given the chance.

I empathized with the vet homeless situation, especially when Iraqi vets and Aghani vets (US soldiers of course) are being identified as among the homeless. Disturbing to say the least. Bush needs to allocate funding to assist all vets.

I would rather ask why there is always plenty of cash for liberal programmes to help illegal aliens, but no liberal programmes to help Vets.
