I'm not a guy but this question works the other way around, too.
It is a very romantic thought. When My husband and I went for our pre marital counseling we were asked the same question. My answer, and the answer of our marriage counselor is: no there's not just the one perfect match out there. If you truly love someone they will always have a place in your heart but you can love more than one person. This friend of my grandmother was married for over 40 years when her husband passed on. She thought she would die of grief. But a couple of years on she met a guy and they stayed together for almost 30 years and had a great time with each other until she passed on.
Right now I cannot imagine life without my husband, I know in a way I will never loose him, as he is always in my heart (plus we now have a lovely babygirl in whose features I can can recognise him everytime I look at her smile..), but if heaven forbid we should not be together at sometime of course there might be someone I could love out there. I wouldn't want my husband to spend the rest of his life lonely should I not be around anymore, I would want him to be happy.
