It depends on the person and the dog. I heard if you are an emotional person, then it's better if you have a cat, a loner.. a reptile... If you're outgoing and active... a dog is the best choice. I have a dog and he's trained, so I think he's the best pet in the world... but I'm pretty sure a lot of people have that same feeling.

To me, Yes. They are much more fun to play with than cats. My cat ignores me and only pays attention to me when he wants food. He sleeps all day and is out all night. I have 2 dogs, A dalmatian cross and a yorkie cross. They are really fun to play with most of the time, Patch (the dalmatian) Plays fetch (to a certain degree. If running off with the ball counts) and the yorkie bites your hand gently (his way of playing.) Dogs are amazing animals, You can do so much with them.
I have never owned a monkey.. So i dont know if a dog is the best pet, but to me.. It is :D

For the moment yes , but my first Dog I call animal control , c couln't take care of it.

that really depends on what type of life style you have are you home alot are you really busy when your at home do you have 2 yr or younger children if you say no to these questions then a dog might be a good ideal you my need the company of a dog.

Oh come on now, it all depends on your personality and lifestyle. For me, yes, a dog is the best companion I can have.. For others, kitties rule. And others, others.

dogs rock, especially if you have a personality that mixes well with dogs
I do and rarely find a dog that doesn't want me to pet, play with, etc.
