Apply a warm compress to open the pores & see if some of the hair is exposed. If not, use a gentle scrub. Rinse well & re-apply the warm compress. Pat your face dry.

If a bit of the hair is exposed, use a pointy set of tweezers to guide the hair out of the follicle. Don't pluck, just straighten it so it isn't folding back into the skin. After the hair is straightened, dry the tweezers & get a good grip @ the root to pluck it out.

If the hair isn't exposed, apply the compress twice a day & use a scrub over the next 1-2 days to help slough off the skin cells covering the ingrown hair.

Be patient & gentle. Don't break the skin.
