In a moment of on-setting rage, it's important to remember to know what actually happened. Did the person really spit at you? If so, "confront them". If not, let it go and blow off some steam another way.

if someone spit on me they should be happy that they are able to wake up in the hospital. I will whip their a** so good they will never spit on another person in their life. That is going to be an a** whipping they will tell their grandchildren about.

Spitting is actually an assault - I would wipe it off then if I was hit by it - go and clean myself thoroughly and NEVER deal with that person again. People who do such things are low lifes and have NO etiquette or manners. I don't care how angry you are, that is a line that should never be crossed.

I would spit back at them and then probably make them well aware about how I felt about it. I find spiting at someone the RUDEST thing someone can do to me. If there going to spit at me, damn rights I will spit back and I would make it count!

I would get tissue and wipe off his/her spit. I'll spray perfume and put hand sanitizer.
I'm gonna throw the tissue on his/her face. Then I'll go away.
I would never spit back. That's so barbaric. I have manners and poise. And I hate people who spit in public.

I have many life experiences some of which brought me into contact with a bad element of people. I have a calm demeanor but when it is time to handle a situation, I do it quick, precise and effectively. One of the only ways to push my buttons the quickest is to spit at me. You can call me anything you want, fight, holler, scream.....anything but to me spitting is so disrespectful and deserves the beating stick....

it depends on who it was and what i did to supposedly "deserve" it. but there's really no reason to ever spit in someone's face. it's one of the worst things you can do to a person. so i'd probably punch them (and that's coming from someone who's never been in a physical fight in her life).

I would scream my lungs off and demand an apology from that person. I wouldn't really spit back at that person because it is gross..
