When I was young I was frightened but I think the word is shocked not by a ghost but by a demon in the house. And I learned from my mother that the woman who lived in the house before us was involved with the occult.

But as a young boy I also had faith in Jesus Christ. So I just prayed and closed my eyes and went back to sleep. I never saw it or them again. I guess in a sense I learned to live with it until we moved out of the house.

The bottom line is there is no need to prove anything to anyone else. What is important is you know it's real and you just need to find a way to deal with it.

If you see ghosts in the house and they are not bothering you then just leave it alone. Faith helps in those matters. Just know God allowed it to happen for a purpose. From my experience I leaned the truth in the scripture of 1 John 1:4 "
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.". Since I was a Christin back then (and still am) I knew that Jesus Christ was in my heart. And no demon was going to scare me again.

Take some pictures with a camera. Or record it in one of the rooms where you keep seeing the ghosts and you could maybe catch one on the film. Do not use a Ouija Board though to proove you have a ghost, Ouija Board's are very dangerous. Or maybe get some ghosthunters in to proove it.

People are either going to believe or not believe. I grew up seeing spirits and thought I was an evil person for it. All my mother would say is put an open bible in your room, trust me that didnt work. If you can see them you can tell them to leave, they may not leave but it is a try. Yes sometimes you can catch them on film but not always. I found out later that there was a purpose for me being able to see them. I still hate going into nursing homes and hospitals because it is very much overwhelming but I feel there is a reason for some of us to see them and that is to help them. Maybe they just need your help. Dont fear them, that just feeds their energies. Help them pass on.
If that doesnt help then get yourself some sage sticks and bless your house.

Take a picture, shoot some video, or something along those lines. In contrast to popular belief, if you have a ghost in your home, you can capture it on recordable media.

OMG - what a ?!! you need to be concerned with yourself, only , when it comes to this. you must ALWAYS keep a healthy respect for the supernatural; otherwise it won't respect you and YOU will end up with issues. don't worry about the others - you are being shown things for a reason. if they don't believe, it will only be to their detriment. watch, listen and BELIEVE. i am not superstitious or a freak, i simply believe that you must respect EVERYTHING, even the unknown. this is how you protect yourself.

You can't. They have to experience it themselves. When I was a child, it happened to me. Luckily my mother had shared her experiences so it did not sound crazy. Since you seem to have the ability, find out if there is someone else in your family/relatives who have experienced anything like this. Good luck.

A better question might be, how do the people in your house convince you that your are seeing things that are not actually there.

I suggest you keep it to yourself and move to a more congenial environment - unless you want two men in white coats to come and take to the local 'rest home'.
