Beauty addict, I don't say that British English is better than the others, but I learn British English. So, it'd b wrong if I used only B.E. when I talk.

You know what is funny? The "British" greetings would be said in the US as well, with the exception perhaps of "how are you keeping."

The reason people were telling you it doesn't really matter if you are from the US, Australia, or Britain for answering this question is because it really doesn't.

I don't know where you are from, or how you are learning English, but perhaps you should take the advice of native English speakers, instead of adhering to any misheld preconceptions you have about a language you don't even speak that well.

For your benefit and after reading beauty addicts reply I have to say that she(?) is wrong, British English is superior, it is the mother tongue. The only thing that Americans have done is corrupt it. They spell everything differently, they believe that everything they alter is for the better, they are wrong, so do not be seduced! As for your question, Good day, how are you? or Wotcha!

I never did like How are you Keeping. How are you keeping what? Or how are you doing what?. Good day is my favourite.
As someone else said, it should not make much difference if it were America or Oz.
