i lost over 60 pounds in the past year and im 16 and 6 ft tall


i also lost alot of strength and muscle


i need to gain my muscle back

but i need help

maybe protien

but everyone tells me i will gain the wieght when i stop taking the protein

how true is this

and is there a way around it?

well thats not really true, your body needs protien to build muscle i believe its 1 gram per pound of bodyweight...so bodybuilder even eat alot more protie then that....cuz your muscles...basicly are created from protien..however you dont "just" need protien...u need many things...i suggest u eat more in general, preferably healthy foods...but if u cannot do that...anything will work honestly...to gain muscle u must work out and eat...its simple math. If you want to be gaining weight by building muscle, you've got to be intake sufficient amounts of protein... as well as other nutrients..

In my research, I have never seen or heard about "putting on weight after you stop taking protein"
