I saw at least two answer which makes me think that some persons don't know 20th century history.
All the racism painted in harry potter is like what happened in Germany between 1933 and 1945. Or Alabama before 1966.
Just show me when JK Rowling wants to make children bad persons and wizards.
I've read all the books, and I see nothing more but struggle for freedom of speech, of religion, and that human are not classified by their blood or their colour of skin like in some states in USA before 1966.

What exactly is the truth of the matter? Is there any merit in what she is saying? Perhaps you don't understand where she is coming from. Then possibly you might be more open minded about her concerns. Yes perhaps she overdoes it on the sensationalism. But that doesn't dismiss the fact that there might be some merit in her concerns. She's not ridiculous just concerned.

pretty freaking ridiculous. I was lucky enough to be raised in a home where my parents never imposed anything on me, and let me come to my own descisions and conclusions. My dad and his side of the family were very religious (catholic) while my mom's was not (except for my grandma), but I didn't know they weren't religious until recently. I actually was a very religious fundamental christian when I went to christian school for a couple years, but then really thought about things and decided god probably doesnt exist, and if he does, its not a god that man has come up with.

The truth about Rowlings & Harry Potter is hard to take?
The truth hurts....?
BUT the truth will make you free, Jesus Christ says.
Don't mess with the occult - the devil is a vicious enemy - the devil has come to kill, steal & destroy.
Witchcraft glorifies the devil.
God is a good God but the devil is a bad devil!
The Bible says, "Abstain from all appearances of evil."
