The whole modesty part of your religion really confuses me. I mean wouldn't it have been easier for the Qua'ran to talk about self control rather than covering up the problem?

Very true! Why would any supreme being be concerned with dress or diet.

it somewhat is a Nuns own own option to be a Nun, and not all Nuns wears the generic uniform. Many gown as standard people. A beard does not make you an extremist, a bomb does. An American lady has the choice to artwork or stay abode. in many families, the female makes extra funds than the guy. each time somebody dedicates themselves to a faith, it somewhat is a pointless attempt. it somewhat is like dedicating your self to Santa Claus or Harry Potter. while a Christian, or the different religious enthusiast kills for faith, it somewhat is definitely suggested and broadcast everywhere in the information. The IRA replaced into politically inspired, no longer religiously, and that they have got been disbanded. The KKK isn't supported with the aid of the christian majority, and if asked, or introduced to the attention of a christian, they'll immediately talk up against the movements of this tiny team and exhibit their opinion of why those individuals are no longer perfect representatives of their faith. - Muslims do no longer try this relating to terrorists. A remark approximately terrorism from a Muslim is by no skill volunteered, it is going to be solicited, and it somewhat is often shrouded in protection and undesirable excuses. Even this question which you're asking is rather an excuse and attempt to justify Islamic terrorism.

I'm not a Muslim but I do believe in modesty. However, there is a difference between dressing respectfully and hiding. Muslim women are kept hidden. Remember that Australian Muslim leader who referred to women (all, not just Muslims) as uncovered meat left out. He openly said a women deserves what she gets if she's improperly dressed! That is what Islam teaches. The woman is to be blamed since she tempted the man. Apparently a head of hair showing is a good reason for rape.

God wants modesty. Most people do not run around with their private parts showing. God said a woman's glory is her hair. Who cares what Allah said?!

As far as I understand what the Qur’an was trying to say is that a woman must cover her ornaments to avoid temptation, temptation in that sense that leads to evil. Moreover if you lead someone to evil then that makes you evil. It is not really covering up the problem but instead preventing the problem to occur. I mean the consequence of all human desires, which is not fully evil for me in the sense that it is human nature, such as adultery, rape, pornography, hedonism and the like are the things that the Qur’an was trying to address. Regarding self control, well doesn’t that sound self control to you?

That makes a lot of sense until you start thinking about the consequences of a nudist society. Would you ever want to eat at a buffet again, or use the stationary bicycle at the gym?

muslim in general is not the issue. the threat is the politicized ideology that the radical muslims have set into motion. they have a good foothold now and anybody that will fly a huge airliner full of people into a huge office building full of people would not hesitate to set off nuclear weapons. iran now has the means and the will to arm such radicals. their proxy leader has announced that very fact. do you understand? your feelings about how they dress is so lame by honorable friend and fellow citizen.

this is too important to focus on clothing instead of hydrogen bombs that may rest in the next building already. think.

Do you want to know why they came up with that silly law in Islam? First of all, Muhammad didn't talk to any "supreme being"... everything he came up with arose from his own twisted ideas (besides what he plagiarized from other religions).

The man was a sex addict.

Muhammad invented the idea for women to cover up because it was all he could do to keep from raping every woman he saw. And he conveniently received the message from "allah" in order to justify it.

Quran very much talk about self control..But just talk of self control does not suffice for all. Islam is practical. Hijab also is required and some even need lashes.

You are getting confused between sin and crime..

covering up is not forced, and most of those who do like it.
islam does talk about self control and patience. it's one of muslim qualities.

other religions should cover up too, but some people just take the things they like in a religion, and throw out the things they don't like.

in the bible
Corrinthians 11:3-6
Timmothy 2: 9-10

imagine an expensive ruby, you wouldn't put it on your keychain, you would wrap it up and put it somewhere safe.

good point..i should take off my modest clothing and let my boobs hang out of my low cut top and wear a skirt three inches long. then i'll be a very respected woman.
btw, why do you cover your private areas if it doesnt have to be covered up? unless god didnt create you with it???
