I posted this link and just discovered hundreds upon hundreds or recalled toys on this government recall link.
I couldnt believe an electronic cat my 4 yr old plays with was recalled because it has contaminated water in it ! WTF !
Who would think of water inside an electronic plush toy !
So please take some time and go through the toybox because this is just plain scary and crazy !

The toy recall is scary. When Dora came out on the Recall list I went Crazy. I boxed all the toy's up and went throw them. I gave them most of the toys back but I still look for more every day.

There is about 5 new items on the recall list every day Monday-Friday.

So what we have done in my family to told both grand parents NO toys for X-rmass this year. We gave both a list of there Vsamil games and told them to get for them in sated this year.

I have started to lower the # of toys in my home and started to look for made in the USA on toys.

I looked at this list and thought Hooo Leee Cow because the list was so long. The oldest on the list is from 1974, so that's why it is so long. This is a good link to keep, though, because I found some toys on that list that my kids had 10 years ago that I still had around.

Thanks for the list, guess I'll be going through that tomorrow. Here's another list that just showed up on the headlines:

It's really sad, and pathetic you know? It never should've come to this, this should've been caught long ago. So frustrating, can't trust any companies or governments at all. It's almost worth it to just throw out everything the kid's have, and just start over and hope that the stuff that's out there now is ok.....This is really getting ridiculous.

Thanks. Yes, this is all really scary.
Time for us moms and gift-buyers to head to our local craft markets and buy things handmade by local craftspeople. That's what I'm doing for Christmas gifts this year.
