The answer will be different for every person. People have different language needs depending on the social and economic factors of their lives and the areas where they live.
Personally, my native language is English, and I have learned to speak Spanish with advanced proficiency. I'm currently working on German and I'm at an intermediateish level with that. I also picked up some functional Czech when I was in the Czech Republic last summer. And I know a few phrases and sentences in some other languages like Korean, Japanese, and Mandarin.

There's always English since it's the universal language... After that is Mandarin, Spanish, French and Japanese :)

Plus it would be easier for you to learn those languages because western English is a little similar to those European languages.
Note: Don't try to learn some Asian language. It won't be successful as you thought it was.
