I would pronounce 'An Faoileán' (the seagull) 'On fwee-lawn'

An Faoilean = The sea Gull = Pronounced " Uh Fee-lahn."


In some north Irish dialects it is faoileog , more like the Scottish Gaelic (faoileag) and is pronounced "fee-logg and even "fwee-logg."
