For one thing, it's a horrible waste of water; especially if it's hot water (which will run up a very high gas bill)
Also, assuming you wash yourself in each of these eight showers, YES, the soap and heat of the water will dry your skin out.
If you suffer from some kind of nervous condition that makes you think you are constantly dirty, try a two-pronged approach of shorter and cooler showers.
Otherwise, showering once or twice a day (depending on your job, or whatever contact you have with dirt) should be sufficient.

You skin will begin to temporarily feel ashy, but lotion isn't going to help everytime.
Your hair will definitely be harmed. When you shampoo your hair that many times, it strips it of the moisture, natural oil and minerals your hair needs. It could make it brittle and it will definitely give you split ends.
Also, think of all the water that's wasted. A water bill for a person who showered this much must be OUTRAGEOUS. :)
Maybe the better question is: why would one need to shower that many times? ;-) (Just kidding)
Twice a day is okay, but not good if you shampoo and condition your hair both times. Once a day is fine. Every other day is better (for your hair only).

You will be stripping the oils from your skin, which starts with dry skin, hair and eventually nails. If you do this often, it will also result in sensitivity, rashes and even infections of the skin. If you must shower: use cool water, shower very briefly and use a moisturizing soap. If you can avoid washing your hair each time, do.

It is just not good for your skin. It takes out natural oils and can make your skin very dry. How in the world do you have time to take showers like that anyway : ) LOL

Well it would probably pretty harsh on your skin...It will most likely dry your skin out alot. I would think that a shower in the morning and one at night would be fine enough if you feel as though you need to have multiple showers:)

Yes. Too much may remove the oils in your skin. Dry skin can be at the least uncomfortable and at the worst, may require medical attention. Assuming you lead a normal life, with winter on its way you may want to shower just once per day.

you could look at many things until we could say that it is good or it is bad.
first is the soap that you are using. if you are using a mild soap with moisturizers, its fine but if your using germicidal soap every time you take shower it will strip out the lipids on your skin making your skin dry.
second is the climate on your place. if your living on a tropical country like me, its ok but if your living on a country with temperate or polar climate its really bad.
third and the most important is the way you take the shower. are you scrubbing your skin too much? it yes its bad. also take considerations on the type of water that you are using because beyond our observation, there are different kinds of water.
tip:
always use lotion so that your skin will be safe. it could bring back the lost moisture and lipids from your skin.

Most likely what it will do is dry out your skin. Washing, especially in hot water, depletes the natural oils in your skin, leaving it dry, flaky, and sometimes itchy. One shower a day is plenty for most people. I'd say two at the most.

I assume you're only taking all these showers because you're masturbating. You don't need to shower all the time....Pick up a sock or something! Yes showering that much is harmful to your skin and the environment!

It will remove the natural, protective oils, drying and ageing your skin prematurely. 3 military style showers should be enough for anyone: wet down, lather up, rinse off: each a 5 mn. maximum, unless shampooing.
