I JUST heard this on the news! The "aqua dots" for children are VERY dangerous. If ingested, its comparable to the date rape drug! Can you believe it?! It can cause a coma and/or death if swallowed. How crazy is that?! Did the creators not realize this when they made them?! That's why I refuse to buy stuff like that for my kids. Either way though, I'd supervise them so that they wouldn't put them in their mouth in the first place. Crazy, crazy, crazy....

i just saw that on the news too. it is getting realy bad, if you go to any department or toy store they have billboards with tons of pictures of toys that have been recalled, its like if you buy any toy for your child now you have to check those boards everyday just to make sure it hasnt been recalled. i have a feeling that china is making alot of money off of this because many parents have to throw out toys that they have bought and end up buying other toys to replace them, which means that china gets double the money. i think there will be a big push for toys made in usa pretty soon. i feel bad for anyone shopping at a second hand store for toys because the second hand stores do not get recall updates on toys like the department and toy stores do. so they have no idea if the toys they are buying there are safe, alot of second hand stores have stopped selling toys because of that.less toys for them which is no good at all!

Aqua dots need to be stopped immediately ! All products need to be removed from the US along with the entire company for that matter. From our sweatshop havin and you know where I am talking about needs to be shut down and reprimanded . Anything that is putting Americas youth at risk because of ignorant engineering needs to be seriously fined and removed from the Toy industry .

Yes, and I threw them away! This is insane. I think who ever created them knowingly let this happen for some sick reason. I mean how could they NOT know? I am highly upset about this, and think this is some type of chemical warfare crap, these were not made in the US!

This was actually on my Christmas shopping list... not anymore though. I think I'm just going to not buy anything from now on if it's made in China... of course, that's just about everything in the toy aisle.

It makes sense that something that is plastic and instantly glues to itself with water would be toxic.
I would have also thought color blow pens would be on that same list of arts and crafts not meant for kids, either.
