I think it would be Abe Lincoln. But I would like to point out that during his Presidency, he was hated and reviled just as badly as Bush if not more so. How ironic. Perhaps in 100 years or so, people will look back on today and say GW was a good President after all.

I do not know what this has to do with Spirituality but my favorite US President is Theodore Roosevelt.
Theodore Roosevelt, or "Teddy Roosevelt", was the 26th President of the United States. A Nobel Peace Prize winner, an accomplished author, hunter, explorer, Teddy Roosevelt mastered many arts during his lifetime. Few presidents were so beloved while they were in office. Even fewer make for as interesting a study as Teddy Roosevelt does nearly 100 years after he left the office. Teddy Roosevelt also left us with numerous gifts to remember him by--several of our national parks.

Andrew Jackson – the only president in history to completely eliminate all debt. Completely opposed central banking and the European banking powers who now own this country lock, stock and barrel. They tried to assassinate him twice, but failed both times.

Franklin Roosevelt, followed by Carter. The one was a genuine leader, the other the most honest, giving, genuine and self-effacing president we've ever had.
Reagan was an ignorant phony - his only worthy acting role was that of president.

Washington started this mess. A great mess, by the way. Kennedy put us on the moon. Take your pick.
