Let's hear some of your lies so we can compare.
The fact that Gore has put forth some material with inaccuracies, that he has misspoken on occasion, is not the same as telling lies.
Not sure how old you are, but you should be punished for lying, it can get you in a world of trouble. And right now, our world is in trouble, and I thank God for the Al Gore's of the world who have chosen to try to alert and inform us of the situation. We can't begin to address the problem until we properly understand it.
Summary: Don't lie, don't worry about Gore, and devote yourself wholeheartedly to a worthy cause in the future and maybe you'll understand where he and others are coming from.

Depends on the lie!
I'm sure that the lies in which he committed were minimal in comparison to the overall contribution and relevance of his information provided.
Global Warming of course is happening, it's a natural process of the earth. Yet with the factors he pointed out, in his film, it is shown that we are contributing to this natural process and it would be beneficial to make some changes in the way we live.
Many changes would be extremely easy if we didn't have our dependence on oil. Also the fact that money controls a lot of what people choose to do.
So whether you lie or not isn't the issue, it all comes down to your reasoning behind the deception!
Honestly, I don't know what he lied about. I haven't been following it as closely as you.

I do not know why people above are saying he is not a lier. He has admitted that himself.
Q. There's a lot of debate right now over the best way to communicate about global warming and get people motivated. Do you scare people or give them hope? What's the right mix?
A. I think the answer to that depends on where your audience's head is. In the United States of America, unfortunately we still live in a bubble of unreality. And the Category 5 denial is an enormous obstacle to any discussion of solutions. Nobody is interested in solutions if they don't think there's a problem. Given that starting point, I believe it is appropriate to have an over-representation of factual presentations on how dangerous it is, as a predicate for opening up the audience to listen to what the solutions are, and how hopeful it is that we are going to solve this crisis.
http://www.grist.org/news/maindish/2006/05/09/roberts/ (Interview with Grist Magazine’s David Roberts and Al Gore about An Inconvenient Truth)
A British judge ruled that there were nine lies in his film.
Those lies (what he refers to over representations) just happen to be the most scariest part of the movie. (Sea levels rising, spread of disease, Hurricane katrina, lakes evaporating). It is the sizzle, what makes it sell. Without it, his movie would not be influential. And that is why he lied.

What makes you think he lied. Check the facts and evidences he presented and start reading the news.
Global warming is no longer a theory. It is a fact that we'll have to face. The sooner the better.

We sure could use some of that global warming down in the southern US. We are having a record cold spell. Or maybe that is from global warming or climate change or whatever the hot button term is today. Why do manmade global warming extremists listen to certain scientists and ignore others? For every one they could find I could find one who disagrees.

The reason Al Gore gets away with so much is that he has been traveling all across the world with his slide show on universal dental care called "An Inconvenient Tooth."

Your premise is wrong, you lie as Gore didn't li about GW. So you start your question with a lie and the remainder becomes moot.

Al Gore wasn't--and isn't--lying; man-made global warming is proven science. And his efforts to raise awareness and educate the publicin the face of vicious libel, slander,a nd attempts by special interests at character assination make him a worthy Nobel Laureate.
There are still some delusional crackpots around who claim Gore is not being honest--and claim to have found "errors" in his statements (including "An InconvenientTruth"). If you look at the things they claim are supposedly errors, you'l quickly see that these nuts are as ignorant as they are psychologically disturbed--they don't even know enough grade school science to understand what Gore is saying.
