If you want your PC to be close to PS3:
Get a good video card Geforce 8600 (or close - 400$-500$) with HD support.
Get an AGEIA card for physics in the game (around 350$)
Blu-ray ROM - around 600-1000$ (actually, no PC games were released on BD-DVD - PC developers prefer to give you a bunch of DVDs), but for the future...
No 7+1 kernel processor was developed for PC - you'll have to go with 4 kernel (Intel Duo 6600 - 6800). This monster PC will cost you MUCH more, than PS3 with the couple of games.
Actually, those prices are not touching motherboard, RAM, power supply (this PC will need a lot of power), fast HDD, etc, etc.

it's complicated and confusing:
you have to get a HD monitor. to do that you have to get a better graphics card first. in order to have a better graphics card, you have to change the ram, memory and all this stuff to make it faster to process everything
i'd just buy a new computer with all that stuff incluided at dell.com...
