Depends on age of girl and her maturity. However, anything less than 16 or so and it's just not right. More like a father figure and he's probably emotionally immature or a pervert.
However, as girl approaches 20 it is possible to love someone 15 years older......if she is emotionally mature. I married one and still married many, many years later.
Scientifically our brains don't mature until we are in our early 20's.......such a shame our hormones develop so many years early.....and why kids get into so much trouble. Emotionally we aren't settled until late 20's.

Not lame question. Many younger women like older men especially if they seem to be well in control and successful. It's possible for younger employees to like and appreciate their older bosses, especially if that boss treats his employees well.

i don't see how that wouldn't be possible. i think its important for the girl to make sure that they are both interested in the same kind of relationship. sometimes when the guy is significantly older than the girl he can take on almost paternal like tendencies which can either lead the girl to become dependent on him, or he can become very condescending towards her. either way it doesn't seem good. but that is only sometimes. if they appreciate each other as peers then i see no problem with it.

This is actually a rare occurrance. I'm 27 and am not attracted to older men, just a few years (like 3) older and not more. Younger women are usually in it for the money, older men are usually in it for the sex. Sad, but true.

I have seen this happen many times over the years and it very rarely turns out well. My advice is to never date anyone you work with, especially your boss who is 16 years older.

It's not that uncommon for this type of relationship to develop. It's generally referred to a May-December relationship, with one person being considerably older than the other.
Sometimes the younger person is attracted to certain traits in the older person that they either 1) are missing in their life or, 2) really enjoy having in their life. For example, looking for a father figure, or finding the older person to be more powerful--which may make them feel secure and safe. Or, in reverse, being around someone younger may make them feel younger or more powerful (as a provider).
Whatever makes your world go around.......:)

It is possible... could be wrong on so many levels too.. lets hope the girl is not a minor, that there both adults, the man is not taken by marriage or someone mate, their aren't any children involved, if there are children lets hope their grown. all I can say realy is be cautious and extremely careful. Be your own best friend!

That is entirely possible. My friend married her boss. He is 18 years older than she is. There's nothing weird or lame about your question. :-)

Very possible and normal. It might be infatuation or might turn to/be love. The only stipulation, again, is age.
Involving two people over 18 it becomes a personal decision.
