Well since God, in all probability does not exist; the question does seem almost moot. Of course, for hypothetical purposes, if we were to posit a God, and this creature is supposed to be infinite with regards to power, intelligence, and love, then I don’t think any of the three predominate monotheisms (i.e. Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) would qualify as God’s favorite religion.

A God of infinite wisdom and grandeur could not possibly respect these faiths, because they belittle questioning and critical thinking, and the usage of one’s intellect – which presumable if God is the creator of the entire universe – would be his greatest gift to mankind. God would revile any religion that would vilify using one’s own mind and thinking for oneself.

A God would further feel revulsion at these faiths because Islam, Christianity, and Judaism place a great deal of emphasis on blind worship, incessant praise, and self-debasement. No God of such profundity, no God so sublime as Islam, Christianity, and Judaism claim him to be, would ever endorse any of these belief systems, which extols the man who submissively kneels in a church, sheepishly bobs his head back and forth in a synagogue, or meekly lays prostrate in a mosque. A God of such strength and intelligence would not need his most beloved creation to disparage themselves so much, and worship him with cowering pretension, in order to elicit his respect.

A God of truly laudable character, and admirable power, would be one that favors a religion that engenders man to find his own answers. This sort of God would find a religion that fosters critical thinking and a contemplative spirit to be a praiseworthy religion. The only two systems, which are commonly deemed religions that come to mind that would fit this criterion, are Buddhism (in its most pristine form, before ancestor worship became popular) and Confucianism.

Yet, in the final analysis, if God did exist, I don’t think he would favor any religion. He would just favor individuals who sought to reap the most out of life, and those who desired to make other people happy.

Religion itself, all types is a creation of man. To proclaim My religion is the only true religion is arrogant, and ridiculous. If there is a God, surly he has never stated, the Baptist religion is the only way to heaven. Or,if you are not muslim, you can not be saved! I have always considered all religions in a very simple way. God is like a very large Tree. The tallest tree you have ever seen. This tree, has many branches. Filled with hundreds of thousands of leaves. Now, my vision. The Trunk of the tree is God Almighty. The branches are many, all the different denominations of all religions. The leaves on the branches, are all the peoples of that particular religion. The branches, although all different, some large, some smaller, all lead back to the trunk , which is God. If you are satisfied with your religion and faith, and you live your life in goodness, and try to be as right with your neighbor as you should, when your time on earth is finished,If there is a God, surly you will be accepted whatever your faith has been on earth!! Peace be with you.. Solomon

I dont believe that you can represent a whole religion... No one can define the optimal "catholic" So I believe that people are lumped together based on their actual belifs deep down.....

Most
People who admit that they have NO IDEA how things work or where we came from.
People who admit that there is a possiblity that every religion is correct
People who are atheists or Agnostics
People who study and study to figure out how everything relisious works together

Least
People who follow blindly
People who refuse to admit that they don't know how EVERYTHING works. ..
People who have hatred for other religions
Zelots and Evangelicals
Those who have blind hatred in anything...
People who refuse to learn and study.....

God does not like any religion. All have far too many shortcomings. What He wants from us is a belief and trust in Jesus. You may call that Christianity, but that is not a religion. It is a way of life.

Personal choice.
But Jesus said that you would know his people by there love for one another.
Jesus followed the laws of his Father and told his followers to do the same. So anyone not following Gods laws would be considered loathsome to God. So I assume they would be like the least.

As far as I can tell, God has never expressed a preference. So far, I haven't heard God tell anybody to quit going to a specific church or mosque or synagogue, so it appears to me that God is just happy that we're TRYING.

God is not about religion He is about saving anyone that believes His Son, Christ.

Your either for him or against.
You either believe what he is about, and who he is, or you dont.
Take him for his word, or consider him a liar.
Its your choice.
False gods abound but only One Christ.
