It is highly unlikely that a fungal infection would go away by itself. It would seem that medication of sometype has to be used to clear the infection . First of all check with a reliable pharmacist for he may suggest an over the counter remedy for the fungus. If that fails you may need a dermatologist .

Greetings, no not likely, it depends where it is if it will spread too. They are usually found in the throat, sinus, vaginal, anal, or in the toes. Being treated right away is best because then it won't spread to other places or become hard to treat. I had one in the sinus's from using oral antibiotics for an infection in my mouth, didn't know what was going on at first until it was so bad I went to the dr. I had to take 4 rounds of meds to clear it up whereas it probably would have been just one had I known you could get one in the sinus's.
