I posted something. It was a rant towards Christians. I'm a Christian. It was saying that instead of teaching hate like so many of these "Christians" want to do, and it was saying that we should instead show what Christianity really is. It was up for maybe 2 minutes. I went back to read more answers and it was deleted. What are you all afraid of? I mean, I thought some of these nonbelievers would be happy that someone finally got the idea that some people get sick of hearing "you're going to hell!" What is it you are so afraid of, whoever it was that deleted that? I wasn't trying to convert.

Why are people so afraid of the true word of God that they will go to the lengths of simply deleting an online article so it can't be read? If He's not real, why are people afraid of something not real?

Ah, sorry, it probably was just as well a Christian who deleted it. But this rant was connected to yet another question I asked about something else, which I KNOW who actually deleted it because they had argued with me about it and immaturely posted something on my other questions. But yeah, I should have included Christians, I wasn't thinking about that, but as I said, this was connected to another thought in my head. Sometimes this entire section is just really upsetting to me.

I was posting a response to your question saying how much me, a non-Christian, felt it was so positive and great from you to have such power of self-criticism, or being able to criticise your own religion. When I hit the submit button it said that the question had been deleted. I had a question deleted once too and I didn't see why it would offend anybody. When I tried to talk to someone in Yahoo about it no one replied. It's useless. Anyways my answer to your question is: no one is afraid of the true word of God, probably more people are afraid of Christians than the true word of God, the fact that someone deleted that question does not imply fear, it doesn't impy anything in particular, really, just some people trying to annoy others and that's it. I really wanted to tell you how glad I was to hear finally some Christian to Christian questioning so I added you to my list and that's how I knew you had posted this question. I read your profile and I disagree with you on everything you put up in your description. But I respect you. And I am glad you feel that way about respecting others, which is what you talk about and what the Bible preaches, if only all Christians did then... well, then I'd be a Christian myself. Don't waste your time thinking about why someone deleted your question, there's no point and you might jump into conclusions, the wrong ones.
Love and peace to you.

Let me put it to you this way - "That does not compute" because they have a stereotype of us and it will not be tampered with by those of us who do not fit that stereotype. I am sick of Christians who put all of us in some slimey category that I know we don't all belong in.
I asked a question earlier about a group called the Moorish Science Temple and got not one repsonse. They are a group of people who acknowledge Jesus Christ but not in the typical "Christian" way. Since they are a relatively quiet group, nobody has given any answers about them or probably even bothered to look them up.
It is just about buttons - pushing certain ones cause reactions.

I wish I got to read it myself but as I always say, Don't Sweat The Small Stuff! According to your own words, why don't' we show them what it is to be a TRUE CHRISTIAN and pray for them. Forgiving them and thanking God that He has mercy on them even as He does on us. I will. Thank God that we all begin to keep a more sensitive heart to those that are without His love in their heart/ That The Holy Spirit gives them a heart that they can hear and an understanding to receive the things that He has for them. That The Blood of Jesus was shed for them as well as all mankind. That we CAN have patience with those that try to rile us up. Whadaya say?

God Bless you and keep you in His Love.

I thought your question was great so I'll answer it here.
Jesus was often in the company of people thought of as sinners. He never accused them, He loved them and when they asked He told them the hard truth about what they had to do to see the Kingdom of God. Contrast this with the judgemental attitude you see here.
On the other hand, Jesus was vehement in his condemnation of those who considered themselves "godly".
However, the Bible warns that we Christians will be hated by the world because of the Gospel.

I think that they secretly know that there is a God and are afraid to give their opinion because they know that what they write is being judged and they don't won't God to judge them because they are confused. I beleive that they have gone through some hardship and have given up on God, but deeply know that he is there and are afraid.

Maybe if it was a rant toward Christians...do you think MAYBE just maybe they reported you????? OMG!!!!
I mean seriously, before you accuse shouldn't you at least know who reported you in the first place.
I could give a crap less what you post here.......and I'm sure most people feel the same way.

Pilate asked Christ that...
what is truth, and He was standing in front of him, Christ.
Pilate went insane after that.
He knew he killed an innocent man.
Rome was like a lot of America is now, afraid of the truth.

i dunno what peoples problem is. thank you for being one christian who finally understands that we do get sick of hearing that im going to hell. i'd like to hear an honest christian opinion instead of someone else's lies made up to scare me when all i do is laugh. i'd like to hear someone talking about their religion without trying to convert us through hatred. i like to talk about mine, but only to people who are open to hearing about it. if you repost the question, i'd be more than happy to read it. sorry for you that it got deleted though.
