The Sabre 60 is part of the Sabreliner family of business jets built by Rockwell Intnl. during the 1960's thru 1980.

It's well over scrap value, that would only be in the thousands. It may need major work though, a bit of a restoration project.

The book value for that aircraft is only $410,000, so if someone is selling it for $600,000, they obviously think that it is in good shape.

Of course, that does not mean that it IS, but just that they think so. As with any aircraft purchase, you need to get a thorough pre-purchase inspection prior to buying it, and I would reccommend a lot of inspection. Also, this aircraft is very expensive to maintain, and you might end up with a big repair bill right after purchase. I know that the cabin size looks very attractive, especially for that price, but I think you'd be better off spending a bit more money on something else.

I would not think you could get that for salvage or airworthy.
Unless it is in just extremely great shape and low time 4 to 450 max, This type of plane is not one that someone would
refurbish because it a sabre.. If im not mistaken that plane
was a fuel guzzler

You would need to contact the seller and ask them. I would suspect that for the price you mention it is not something to be used for parts only.
