Hell sounds a lot more appealing. The bible doesn't exactly define Hell as a firey pit of Hell or a cold and desolate place - we get these views of Heaven and Hell from stories like Dante's Inferno, which is just one perspective of Hell - the Earthly perspective.
I think of it simply: Heaven is a world without hurt, where everyone is perfect, where everybody is omnipotent and all knowing - who would ever want that? In a world without hurt, without the occasional loneliness, and without fluctuation, there is no point to living beyond death, for it proves to be nothing less than dull.
I think Hell would have more of a chance to expand - there's hurt, there's loneliness, but it's as they say, "What doesn't kill us only makes us stronger," and therefore, we advance in strength. Supposed that Hell isn't the firey pit we all imagine when we close our eyes, let's pose the question that, why does everyone have to be sad and desolate in hell? Why can't I be in Hell and be happy as well as sad?
Regardless, Hell sounds like the more appealing choice.
I'm always game for a challenge.

That is really deep Pluto. I am a Christian, but from a purely objective viewpoint? I do believe I would take heaven. Here it would be right in front of me, then. Here I would finally have every answer for every question displayed before my very eyes. I think i would not mind one bit giving this God Of All Things the praise, honor and glory that he deserves.
The picture I have of hell on the other hand? Nah. No thanks. Picture this...Light a match. That match gives off light huh? Turn of the lights in the room it lights up the whole room, huh? Imagine a place where that fire from that little match doesn't do that. As a matter of fact, it can not even be put out. It burns without respect to water or anything else for that matter. Gnashing of teeth does not sound to be to much of a vaction either. I catch myself when I start grinding mine because it hurts and I am doing it without a pain factor involved. Imagine what your jaw would feel like after a few hours of it? Let alone a few years?
I, in trying to be objective, am going by the only resource I have to get the best desciptions of what is not been "supposedly" seen yet. I am, not beng objective anymore, sure glad that I am going to heaven when I die. Do ya wanna come?
God Bless you and lead you in The Truth.

I feel incredibly sad for the people that would STILL choose Hell after knowing that the wonders of Heaven exist but are too proud to serve God.

Well if Hell is the place of eternal agony and Heaven is the place of eternal bliss. Thats not a very hard decision for me. Heaven of course.

I'm going to put it to you the way my friend did...Hopefully this will make sense.
People that choose to go to hell will probably get rewarded in some way by Satan, because those people did Satan's bidding, not God's.
It's kind of like a rat race. Whoever tallies up the most people wins. So, if you chose hell, Satan would probably reward you for it. If you chose heaven, then God would probably send you to hell for being so selfish...I don't know.
Either way, you'd probably go to hell.
It probably didn't make much sense, but it was an interesting question!

Hypothetically, if I died and saw that the Christians were right all along, I'd be miffed. Maybe God would give me a chance to repent. I would rather go to hell.

That would be a hard choice as if I chose heaven then I would think about all the poor people in hell and it would upset me so heaven wouldn't really be that fantastic knowing that there are people in hell, and hell of course would be a crap hole

But it's a silly question. You're asking about places some people know don't exist, and if they did, hell is not supposed to be a particularly pleasant place, so why would anyone choose that?

I think that if you saw Hell, you would choose Heaven without waiting to see if it is better.
Bill Weise wrote a book "23 Minutes in Hell" where he describes the sights, sounds, and feeling of Hell.
You can see or read his testimony on http://www.SpiritLessons.com
