Since almost everyone has a question like this, why not me?

I have a really good friend who I happen to like very much.

I also happen to know he likes me as well and we pretty much talk every night.

Problem is he has a girlfriend and doesn't really want to continue dating her because she doesn't really talk to him anyway. Except he doesn't know how to break up with her.

Would it be rude to break up with someone just to go out with someone else in this situation?

Be honest, I'm a big girl.

Rude? Maybe look at it this way; Should you stay with the one you are with just to be polite if it means you'll always wonder if you and the other guy would have been a lifelong match?
With only what you have told us I think you want break up to be with this good friend.
Best wishes.

dont come between them let them sort out their problems --- if he is unable to break up with her then he really does not want to break up --- be a friend to him and then if and when they break up go out with him ----- best wishes
