my son is 2 and a half in december and he still has not got any of his four eye teeth (canine teeth), he has the front four teeth on the top and bottom, and all four first molars, he is at the age to expect his four second molars very shortly so hopefully they come through.
but no eye teeth,

we have an appointment with the dentist next week and i want them to do a mouth xray just to make sure that they are there.

have any other mothers experienced this same thing?
if so what age did they finally come through?

Well he is getting his teeth a little late HOWEVER Canines come in after the first set of bicuspids comes in. So he should start getting them soon.

My girls were late teethers just not quite that bad...my 4 yr old got her 2 yr molars when she was 3 1/2. My current 2 1/2 yr old has yet to get her two yr molars.

My son got his not too long after getting his front teeth. He was getting all 4 of his at the same time (Upper and lower). It's not a bad idea to have the dentist take a look. Around age 2 is when it is recommended to start taking them to the dentist anyway.

Oh, don't worry, they will be there before that baby reaches 3-4 years old. I would suggest that you must not expose the baby to X-ray yet. There's nothing to worry about.
Take care and GOD BLESS THE CHILD.
