If our mind is like a computer,
Do not overload it.
Be sure to defragment it periodically by cleaning out those "old tapes" that are hanging around.
Write over them with positive affirmations.
Backup information by writing down what is important.
Add new programs that interest you to spice up your life.
If there is a problem, fix it.

Put it on "standby" and go have a nice stiff drink. Actually your mind is nothing like a computer. We don't know beans about the human mind. I recommend a book by a noted science writer (he used to work for Scientific American Magazine):

John Horgan; "The undiscovered mind; how the brain defies replication, medication and explanation." The Free Press, N.Y. NY, 1999

Good luck thinking, good mental health, peace and Love!

With a computer, I'd blow it out periodically with compressed air to keep it clean. However, there's apparently so much space between your ears, I honestly don't think you really have to worry.
