It depends on the rate in which you pay taxes (depending on how many dependents you are claiming), how much of your income is taxable (most special pays are not, so if you are in a critical MOS with extra pay, this will not be taxed) whether or not you pay state taxes, and depending on the state, how much state taxes you pay. It also depends on years in service-- an E4 with 2 years will make less than an E4 with 4 years, or 6 years - - and your BAH rate if you live off post.

pay is based on paygrade and time in service. the number of dependents has no bearing. now if you are wanting to consider all extra allowances such as BAH, that's different, but again, that will depend on where you live as BAH is based on the zip code of the duty station and taxes dependon your state of record.

depends on the time in service.....your tax rate (how many dependents and rather or not you pay state taxes) and if you want total pay your zip code for BAH there are so many variables its really impossible to say.

i can only estimate for you because there are a lot of things that come into play, but camp lejeune approximately $1350 per pay period, camp pendelton would be roughly $1650, the difference being the housing allowance, any other bases would be different depending on the housing rates
