you will only lose water weight doing that as your body reduces the amounts of stored carbohydrates in your body. you will need to make further changes to your diet/lifestyle if you want to reduce your body fat and keep it off.

Wow, that is a 840 calorie a day cut! If you keep your food to the same portions this will drop your weight like a stone. You may lose 3 to 5 pounds a week.
I encourage you to do this, and research a health balanced diet on Mypyramid.gov. This site gives you proper portions and better defines the food groups.

running and drinking water wont MAKE u lose weight, tho it will help. a healthy balanced diet combined with exercise will be the best way. At the moment u are drinking far to much soda, its full of sugar and its prob doing alot of harm. You dont need to cut it out enitrely, just dont make it the primary drink for the day! balance is the key... lol. I dont think there is a EXACT number of kg's we can say that u would lose,

hey im 19 years old and used to drink coke religiously and never exercised a day in my life. 3 months ago i stopped drinkin any soft drink unless its on a odd weekend when im havein a few drinks at a bar. and i now walk for half an hour in the morning and an hour at ngiht and ive lost about 6 kilos since then. ive also gained alot of muscle which i hear weighs more than fat so i have probably lost alot more fat and gained muscle. im toned and hardly have n e fat on me at all. so dont listen to the answers above! if u cut out soft drink and run an hour a day u will loose significant amounts of weight. and because youll be exercising and drinkin water and obviously concious of the fact you want to loose weight you will be more proned to making better choices when it comes to the food you eat. excercise also releases endorphins and makes you a happy person and helps you make better decisions for yourself!

uhmm you'll lose alot haha.
my friends that have cut out caffeine/soda lost 15-20 pounds and if you run for an hour and actually break a sweat it should help your burn quite afew calories.
