Black would be nice and I was told by 2 roofers that darker colors hold up better than the lighter color shingles.

I had Shingles for the first time a few weeks ago. I am normally in good health and haven't had any other health challenges before, so it came as a surprise.

Shingles is probably the most painful thing I have ever encountered. I went to the doctor, and he gave me some prescription drugs to take that was suposed to help, but didn't.

My wife found the Fast Shingles Cure ebook online and bought it for me, I am very lucky to have such a wonderful woman in my life. We followed the book, did what it said, and it delivered what it promised. Finally my Shingles rash is over... I feel truly blessed and thankful.

I would look for a charcoal color in a shadow blend or a color tone. They are not just your old solid color shingles. They are much prettier because of the variation of colors blended together.Go to this site and click on shingles you will see. Also look at the difference between the Architectural shingle and the regular 3 tab shingle.I put the Timberland 30 (Charcoal Blend) on my house, love it no regrets.

Black, dark grey and you'll be able to vary the trim color to suit your mood.

Any other color, say blue or green and you are really limiting what you can do with the trim.

White is going to look washed out, undersized, yucky .

For an idea: go to the paint program......basic program in Windows I believe and draw a little house and roof. Then fill in with various colors. I do that whenever I get the urge to remodel the outside of this house. Cheaper than doing it in real life.

You have a multitude of colors with the gray siding.
Black would be rich color
Gray. lighter or darker shade than siding would blend nicely.
Brick red
Blue
I would avoid green.

I would go with a shade of gray; but, if you plan to have black trim around house, then I would go black.
