Belief in evolution, do you believe in gravity too? Theres no need to believe in what has been proven, over, and over again. Therefore, you need faith for intelligent design.

intelligent design because there is no belief in evolution. it is to be understood and accepted. not believed in. if you find information that states evolution never happend then bring it forward into the science community. there it the "evidence" will be scrutinized, poked and prodded, until it is decided your "evidence" is faulty or it is actual proof.

Well, when you consider that the Darwin's original theory was based on a misconception and then faulty logic was used, I think it takes a LOT more faith to believe in evolution.
Darwin actually thought that the cell was the smallest divisible part of a living body!!! (*SHOCK*)
He decided that the "undesignated" cells, those that while in the mother's womb had not yet been put to actual use, could be modified by external pressures so as to result in changes from species to species.
First, he was totally unaware of such things as the mitochondria which violates the "rules" of evolution and entropy, as it USES several units of energy in the process of converting raw materials into usable energy for the cell, in the "energy cycle".
Second, he didn't know the first thing about proteins or protein synthesis in the cell.
He was totally ignorant of the double-stranded DNA coiled into a helix.
He could have NEVER guessed the truth, that this double-stranded DNA first uncoils itself, then splits into two separate strands, then each strand starts attracting molecules (yes, like a magnet), to produce a "mirror image" strand of itself called RNA. The RNA goes off and does IT'S own thing (who actually TOLD it what to do, since it didn't exist prior to the DNA's operation?) THEN the two strands of DNA reconnect, then coils itself back up into a helix!
And, of course, as Darwin didn't know, the DNA is a data information retrieval system, encoded to direct every aspect of the "animal" in which it lives. Anybody who knows anything at all about data information storage and retrieval systems will tell you that information can NOT result from random activities, but rather information must be very deliberately established. Just ask any computer programmer!
So, with faulty science and weak logic, Darwin came up with his theory of evolution, and as ANY body who knows ANY thing about logic will tell you, if the premise is faulty, then the conclusion will also be wrong!
The very concept of evolution violates the known laws of entropy and the laws that govern the distribution of energy in a closed system (usually referred to as the laws of thermodynamics).
In a very simple nutshell, these laws demonstrate that the universe is running DOWN hill, that we are moving from ORDER to CHAOS. Evolution requires CHAOS to become ORDERED, and NONSENSE to become an INTELLIGENT INFORMATION SYSTEM.
It is so rediculously ludicrous, that it would be easier to have faith that you could throw all the parts of a timex mechanical watch in a baggie and shake them up for a few months to result in a working watch that is actually set to the correct time!
Even the Cray Supercomputer is simpler than the internal workings of the cell and the DNA. We have no problem understanding that the Cray was both designed, and built, AND programmed. And yet people have mind-boggling faith to believe that the DNA just came out of a series of accidents!
No. It takes MUCH more faith to believe in evolution. At least to those intelligent enough to study and understand what they're studying.
The rest, well, let them keep their pretend world. Let's not awaken them to the REAL universe, they may go into shock or something! When they continue to insist that evolution is true, in SPITE of the facts, now THAT is faith! WOW!!!

What is more absurd? To believe God designed all of this, or given enough time, hydrogen turns into humans, molecules to man, particles to people, microbes to microbiologists, protozoa to ponies, pelicans and politicians? If a frog turns into a prince in an instant—well, that’s a fairy tale. But if a frog turns into a prince over millions of year—well, that’s evolution. But I still say it’s a fairy tale.
Are we the ones with blind faith? Where you there when something popped into existence from nothing and exploded? No, well do you see something pop into existence from nothing today? Were you there when non-living matter gave rise to life? No, well do you see non-living matter giving rise to life today? Where you there when single-celled organisms gave rise to many-celled organisms, when invertebrates gave rise to vertebrates, when ape-like creatures gave rise to man? No, well do you see it happening today? You have to believe that matter came into existence by itself and then arranged itself into information systems by blind chance. That is what goes against real science.
As Dr. Jonathan Sarfati says, we need to quit calling evolution a theory; that is giving it too much credit. “Goo to you” evolution is an unsubstantiated hypothesis or conjecture, not a theory.
So why do so many people believe in evolution? It’s simple, most people believe what they want to believe and they don’t want there to be a God. You see, if God created us, then He also owns us. If He owns us, then He has a right to set the rules by which we must live. If He has set the rules by which we must live, then we are accountable to Him. They don’t want to be accountable to God; they don’t want to be controlled. And so, it is their desire to explain the origin of everything without a Creator at all costs; they MUST believe in evolution. Evolutionism then, is intrinsically an atheistic religion—the religion of secular humanism.
And as T. Wallace has said, “A major reason why evolutionist arguments can sound so persuasive is because they often combine assertive dogma with intimidating, dismissive ridicule towards anyone who dares to disagree with them. Evolutionists wrongly believe that their views are validated by persuasive presentations invoking scientific terminology and allusions to a presumed monopoly of scientific knowledge and understanding on their part. But they haven’t come close to demonstrating evolutionism to be more than an ever-changing theory with a highly questionable and unscientific basis. (The situation isn’t helped by poor science education generally. Even advanced college biology students often understand little more than the dogma of evolutionary theory, and few have the time [or the guts] to question its scientific validity.)”

Faith would be ID since it failed as a scientific hypothesis. Evolution however, has withstood almost 200 years of scrutiny.

Seeing as there is evidence for evolution, added to the fact that ID is untestable and will thus never have any evidence for it, I think its obvious. Evolution is not accepted on faith.
