We were talking about this and even for multiple tour guys a few noticed that once they returned from leave it seemed that they for a bit at least were a little more tentative and seemed to hold back a bit on cautions side. Has anyone else experienced this.

Not for me... when i went home on leave, i was still on edge. I didn't feel comfortable driving, loud noises freaked me out...

It was almost a relief to come back to Iraq and be freaked out for a reason, instead of over nothing.

Almost. :)

Living in a combat zone makes one a bit more cautious. Its a good thing but usually goes away.
