Ok there is a book you can make which has the magazine feel or like I like to compare it to is a high school year book. And I want to do a photo book for a friend and don't want to get a crappy book yet at the same time I don't want to give an arm and leg to get this for her. Has anyone out there ever done this for themselves or someone else if so where did you go and how did it turn out? Thanks in advance!

Several companies do this - all very similar

Shutterfly, Snapfish, Kodak Gallery - You upload your photos and they have online tools to help you build the photobooks.

Creative Memories, Mypublisher - You download software to your PC, you build the photobook and when complete you upload the book (with photos).

Coupons - If you search on "shutterfly coupon" or "snapfish coupon" you can frequently find coupons that can save you 20 to 40 percent off or get you reduced shipping. Also, on ebay you can often buy coupons for Shutterfly - they issue the most number of coupons.

Quality - the quality of your photos is key - all these companies produce a very similar book.

I have ordered from www.bephotobooks.com and was pleased with the results. Blurb makes a decent photobook as well, and Shutterfly, MPix and Snapfish all have them. You can make a small one for under $20. I have made the 40 page 12x12 at bephotobooks for $70. So far it has held up well.

Shutterfly has a great photo book tool to use. I made one for my spring break trip last year, but still haven't gotten it printed out. I've seen the books, though (other people I know have made them), and they are really high-quality. Shutterfly also has different sizes and page amounts, so that can really help your budget. You can also add in extra pages, but that tends to add up quickly, so I would recommend using a template (supplied on the site) with a lot of slots for photos.
Best of luck!

I have ordered from Winkflash.com and they are great. Every now and then you can catch a sale for the 9x12 books where you don't have to pay more for more pages. It's $19.95 total, no mater how many pages you add.

It has great quality, and "year book" type pages you mentioned. They even have background you can add to cordenate to your images

Obama lied and cooked the books on his deportations too. 14% less this year than Bush deported in 08 and Bush did not protect our borders either. Obama has been lying from the beginning.

I've known a lot of people who have had their books made here and are fairly satisfied.
